The drywall is nearly all hung! I’m told I can do a little painting in a couple days, if I can squeeze it in between finishing drywall and cabinet installation. Speaking of which, I’m also told that our custom cabinetry is now completely constructed and should be arriving in the next day or two. It’s going to start looking like a kitchen from here on!
It’s been fun to see the hood frame mounted (the big silver thing hanging from the ceiling in the image above). Visualizing how it will look when the rest is attached, we are really glad we got the leanest one we could find, because it should look pretty good in that space instead of overpowering the new opening.
On our joint inspection of the kitchen this morning, Grover let it be known he has had enough of all this stuff and wants it to end. He left a bit of hairball barf to emphasize his point.
